The successful candidate will provide 1st Level Support to the internal and external users on the usage of applications. She/he should be able to analyse incidents occurred on production’s applications and resolve them immediately or through escalation.
- Respond to requests for application assistance in person, via phone, electronically
- Diagnose and resolve applications issues
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Support users in the use of applications by providing necessary training and advice.
- Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members
- Maintain documentation
- Train the users on applications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in an Application Support position
- 2+ years experience in development (any programming language) and DB development ( RDBMS)
- Strong IT Background
- BA in Software Engineering or similar field will be considered a strong plus
- Knowledge of the Business Processes
- Excellent use of the English language (both oral and written)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Team working behavior
