On behalf of our client, a technology company that provides integrated retail and security solutions to its corporate partners that operate in many locations across Europe, we are currently looking for a motivated IT Business Support Agent (Italian Speaker), to join their growing support team in Athens.

 

A day in the life of an IT Business Support Agent (Italian Speaker)

You will provide 1st Level Customer Support Services on complete Retail IT Software and Hardware solutions.

Your day-to-day

  • Define customer needs via ticketing service system and provide support services accordingly
  • Provide 1st level customer support services on complete IT software and hardware solutions
  • Troubleshooting retail issues (printing issues, fiscal devices issues, hand scanner issues, label printer issues etc.)
  • Troubleshooting IT-related issues (hardware issues, connectivity issues etc.)
  • Provide 1st level Customer Support Services on Network Attached Storage devices
  • Diagnose errors or technical malfunctions and determine proper solutions remotely
  • Reading, understanding and implementing specific processes stated in user manuals or scoping documents
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and applying fixes in software-based solutions provided to customers
  • Deploying software solutions or updates

What you will need

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in Technical Support Desk, or equivalent combination of Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction Services
  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Fluency in the Italian language is obligatory
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Windows platforms and peripherals
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
  • Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
  • Ability to work in rolling shifts 7 days/week
  • Basic Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle) will be considered as a plus
