On behalf of our client, a fast-growing leading company in the B2C industry, we are currently looking for a self-driven Senior Data Scientist, to join its BI team. 

A day in the life of a Senior Data Scientist

You will be an expert in turning data into information and transforming data into business decisions. You will join a dynamic and interactive BI team, using top-notch technologies. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about Data Analytics!

Your day-to-day

• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
• Extend company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

What you will need

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Proven experience of 3+ years in predictive analytics, data science and data mining
• Deep understanding of Python databases
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning principles and techniques
• Familiarity with BigQuery, SQL or other RDMBS is a big plus
• Experience with dynamic pricing strategies is also a big plus
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
