On behalf of our client, an international, well-established and award-winning technology company that provides unique solutions for the retail, accommodation and tourism industry on a global scale, we are looking for an energetic Technical Support Engineer to join their vibrant team of engineers. 

Your day to day

• Support company systems and ensure performance & availability
• Provide 2nd & 3rd Level support to external partners on network and Linux servers
• Install, troubleshoot and Deploy Linux based Web and DB Servers
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
• Visit clients on premise to provide technical support

What you will need

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar position as a Field Technical Support Engineer
• Knowledge of Linux/ Windows Server OS
• Strong hands-on technical infrastructure skills including Desktop Services, Servers, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, IPSec
• Experience with Backup solutions and monitoring tools
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Smart Switches, MikroTik Routers, Firewalls & Access Points
• Understanding of VoIP technologies
• Familiarity with Linux scripting languages or any scripting languages (e.g. bash, python)
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Microsoft Azure, MySQL, nginx, uwsgi, etc.
