On behalf of our client, a data – driven company developing AI Platforms for the shipping industry, we are currently looking for a self-driven DevOps Engineer, to join its software development team.

Your day-to-day

• Maintaining day-to-day management and administration of the production and development clusters
• Maintaining everything with Terraform & Jenkins
• Supporting the team of development
• Developing robust monitoring & alerting solutions, working with tools at the cutting edge of technology
• Automate every-day tasks and procedures
• Becoming part of a continuously evolving environment
• Proposing and building new technologies
• Working with other team members to define project requirements in an agile environment

What you will need

• 2+ years of working experience in a similar role
• Experience with AWS
• Proficiency in Linux system administration
• Cloud automation using Terraform
• Experience with Postgres and Redis
• Experience with message broker software (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• High availability and clustering concepts
• Understanding network fundamentals
• Security-driven culture

Great to have

• Experience with distributed source control tools (Git)
• Experience with CI tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Strong scripting skills (at least Bash and Python)
• Experience in monitoring, alerting and metrics systems (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus)
• Experience using Docker containers
