Java Developer

On behalf of our client, a leading technology company in online bookings and electronic services of ticket reservation systems and services in tourism, travel, and culture industries, we are looking for a self-driven Java Developer to join their dynamic team based in Athens.

A day in the life of a ‘Java Developer’

You are an inspired professional that will be part of highly skilled teams who design, develop, deploy, and support complex Information Systems. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of technologies to develop a solid background in the field of software development.

Your day-to-day

• Identify and analyze user requirements
• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
• Develop Java EE applications
• Write well-designed, efficient code
• Participate in the design database architecture
• Schedule product releases with internal teams
• Document development phases
• Ensure applications are secure and up-to-date 

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications
• In-depth knowledge of Spring, Maven and/or Hibernate
• Experience on Git and source control process
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Experience in GDS systems, reservations systems, ferries line of business or similar will be considered as a huge plus
• English speaker and writer
