React Developer

On behalf of our client, an international technology innovator, we are currently looking for a self-driven React Developer, to join its software development team.

A day in the life of a React Developer

You will be an inspired professional in web engineering principles and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of web programming languages. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about developing web apps and supporting complex Information Systems. You will be exposed to a variety of technologies to develop a solid background in the field of applications. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor is a bonus!

Your day-to-day

• Assist in building and enhancing our frontend architecture and code quality
• Work to improve overall system architecture and design components to meet those goals in a complex business logic
• Develop new features and functionality for high transaction, large-scale websites
• Writing reliable tests and reviewing others’ code to help keep the bugs out
• Working as a part of a self-organizing SCRUM team to develop new features and functionality for high volume, large-scale websites
• Work with Data Scientists and Backend Engineers to build features and ship experiments

What you will need

• Minimum of 3 years experience and knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS
• Strong User Interface coding skills within an Agile environment
• Opinionated about quality with proven experience in Typescript, Next.js
• Ability to learn and critique new technologies quickly
• Knowledge of React framework, React Testing Library, Jest with end-to-end testing with Cypress
• Experience in Git, Yarn tool, and REST APIs

Great to have

• Experience in Tailwind CSS, Node.js, React Native and Relational Databases
• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or another relevant field
