Senior IT Administrator (Thessaloniki)

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing IT company with embedded engineering solutions and focus on the automotive electronics sector, we are currently looking for a talented Senior IT Administrator, to join its IT team in Thessaloniki.

Your day-to-day

• Participate in the design, implementation and support of client IT infrastructure, network/systems
• Design and implementation of System Security for the IT infrastructure
• Monitoring and configuration of Microsoft servers and applications, Microsoft Network Services (Active Directory, NPS, Radius, IIS, Certificate Authority)
• Monitoring and configuration of virtualization systems such as VMWare/Hyper-V Virtualization including HA clusters, Storage Management, virtual networking
• Managing and supporting Office 365 tools (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Perform maintenance and system upgrades
• Writing and maintenance of technical manuals/reports of internal procedures and data security with respect to ISO 27001 processes
• Preparation of IT systems for periodic audits

What you will need

• At least 5 years' working experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT security technologies
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with ISO:27001 procedures
• Deep understanding of networking technologies (WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, Routing, Firewall, Enterprise WLAN etc.)
• Experience in virtualization technologies (VMware or other)
• Knowledge of Microsoft server products and applications (Windows Server 2012-19, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS)
• Familiarity with Linux servers (Installation, Configuration, Webserver and services deployment)
• Administer Office 365 Users and Tools (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Experience in VOIP technologies
• Documentation Skills - Ability to write concrete technical manuals and describe IT processes, policies, instructions etc.
• Degree in Information Technology or similar
• Relevant Master’s Degree is a plus
• Fulfilled military duties for male candidates
• Good written and verbal skills in English

Great to have

• Experience in IT systems architecture
• Knowledge of Windows Server features (IIS, NPS, RADIUS, Certificate Authority)
• Scripting and programming skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Experience with ISO 27001/27002 processes
• Experience with antivirus/antimalware solutions
• Experience with Azure Active Directory
• Experience with backup solutions such as VeeaM, NetBackup, BackupExec
