Senior Software Engineer

On behalf of our client, a New York–based quantitative investment management firm focused on research-driven trading and advanced technology, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team.

Your day to day

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance software systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in architecture and technical strategy discussions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Ensure reliability and robustness of production systems
• Mentor junior engineers and support engineering best practices
• Take ownership of complex projects from design to deployment
• Contribute effectively within a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Must have

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 10 years of full-time experience as a Software Engineer 
• Strong track record of writing efficient, bug-free, well-designed code
• Interest in working at a startup and understanding its challenges and opportunities
• Experience with Python, Rust, R, C++
