On behalf of our client, a rapidly scaling tech-driven hospitality and real-estate group is expanding its engineering team as it builds the next generation of property-management and guest-experience products. We are looking for a Backend / Full Stack Engineer who wants to join a dynamic startup environment and help shape a platform used by thousands of users.
Your day-to-day
• Build and evolve our core platform, public website, and mobile app features
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code supported by clear documentation
• Collaborate with Product to turn business needs into scoped, deliverable solutions
• Participate in technical design discussions, estimations, and delivery planning
• Own reliability, monitoring, and performance for your systems
• Integrate with essential systems and external APIs (CRM tools, booking channels, finance systems, payments, customer support platforms)
• Investigate issues proactively, propose fixes, and prevent regressions
• Contribute to engineering design decisions; engineers drive the solution design
• Provide technical guidance—this role will eventually mentor a junior backend engineer
What we’re looking for
• 3–4+ years of backend engineering experience in a production environment
• Experience with Go or a language of similar architecture (Python, Java, C#)
• Full-stack understanding; experience with Vue.js is a plus
• Startup experience or strong interest in joining a startup environment
• Strong ownership mindset and comfort working asynchronously with clear specs
• Ability to balance speed, scope, and quality in technical decisions
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with Product and business teams
Nice to Have
• Experience in hospitality, bookings, or property-management SaaS
• Experience with payment flows
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools for production systems
• Hands-on experience integrating external APIs or vendor platforms
