Civil Infrastructure Engineer — Smart City Solutions-Athens, On-site

A corporate spin-off purpose-built to address the gap in the Greek market for large-scale Smart City solutions. The Smart Cities division partners with municipalities and public organizations to implement integrated urban infrastructure: smart lighting, e-mobility, intelligent pedestrian crossings, and mobility systems. Projects run at municipal and regional scale, with the long-term goal of unifying all smart city applications under a single operational platform for local authorities and citizens.

You'll be embedded in the Smart City Solutions team with a specific focus on smart pedestrian crossings and intelligent mobility infrastructure — the civil engineering backbone that makes these systems work in the field. Day-to-day, this means supervising groundwork and foundations, overseeing contractors on active sites, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring every installation meets structural and safety specifications. You'll be the person on the ground who bridges the civil and technology sides of the project.

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a university or equivalent accredited institution
• Practical experience in infrastructure and public works — site supervision, contractor coordination, and construction documentation
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and provide clear on-site guidance to contractors
• Comfortable working directly with public sector bodies and municipal authorities
• Available to travel across Greece when projects are outside Attica — all travel expenses covered

• Exposure to FTTH, utilities, or smart city infrastructure projects 
• Experience working on projects with public procurement or municipal clients 
• Familiarity with IoT or technology-integrated civil installations
