Cloud Architect (Microsoft Azure)

One of Greece's top-10 insurance groups, currently undertaking a core-system cloud migration. The role exists to lead the Azure architecture workstream of a €4M transformation programme.

The Role

You'll architect the landing-zone design, define governance guardrails, and work with three internal product teams to lift-and-shift legacy applications to Azure PaaS services. Within your first six months you'll have the landing zone live, two legacy apps migrated, and a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) playbook published. You'll report to the CTO.

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years in cloud or infrastructure architecture roles
• Deep hands-on expertise with Azure (VNets, AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, Key Vault)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code: Bicep or Terraform
• Cloud governance: Azure Policy, RBAC, Cost Management
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ-305 or equivalent)

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated industries (insurance, banking, healthcare)
• Multi-cloud exposure (AWS or GCP alongside Azure)
• Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation
