On behalf of our client, a leading global organization, major provider of embedded positioning and wireless communication solutions, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Software Developer with strong expertise in cryptographic systems and key management.

This role is critical to building, maintaining, and evolving the company’s internal Key Management System (KMS), securing sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Beyond cryptographic projects, you will also support other cloud-native architecture and development initiatives.

Your day to day

Design, develop, and maintain a secure AWS-based KMS platform, including APIs, CLI tools, and backend services
Implement end-to-end key lifecycle management (generation, storage, rotation, revocation, archival, destruction)
Integrate with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and/or cloud-native KMS platforms (AWS KMS)
Collaborate with security architects, DevOps, and compliance teams to define and implement security policies
Support enterprise applications and services requiring cryptographic operations (TLS, encryption, signing, etc.)
Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities in cryptographic implementations
Ensure auditability and compliance with internal/external standards
Contribute to additional cloud-native deployments across the business

Must have

Proven experience in software development, ideally in security-focused roles
Proficiency in Python and Java SE
Hands-on experience with AWS serverless architectures
Knowledge of cryptographic principles (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, etc.)

Good to have

Experience with PKI systems, HSMs, or cloud KMS platforms
Familiarity with TLS/SSL, OpenSSL, certificate management, and key derivation methods
Understanding of secure protocols, data-at-rest/in-transit protection
Strong grasp of RBAC, access controls, and IAM integration
