Cybersecurity Consultant

On behalf of our client, a Portuguese company specializing in the Information Security. We are currently seeking for a motivated and organized Cybersecurity Consultant to strengthen the Cybersecurity team.

A day in the life of a Cybersecurity Consultant

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the team. Your responsibilities will include conducting cybersecurity assessments, developing security strategies, and implementing security solutions for the clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging your expertise to address complex security challenges effectively.

Your day-to-day

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments and audits for clients
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address security challenges
• Provide expertise in cybersecurity best practices and technologies
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Security, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles
• Proficiency in Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Azure, Defender, etc.)
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles
• Experience with backup and restore platforms, antivirus platforms, and security application checklist validation
• Fluent in English
