Data Center Operations Engineer

On behalf of our client, a big organization in Data Centers, we are currently looking for a self-driven Data Center Operations Engineer, to join its team.

A day in the life of the Data Center Operations Engineer

As a Data Center Operations Engineer you will be part of company΄s Data Center Operations experienced Team. Your main task is to supervise on 24x7 the electromechanical infrastructure of Athens Data Center Campus and support customers in a professional and timely manner.

Your day-to-day

• Provide technical support and carry out operational technical interventions upon customer requests 
• Monitor the Critical Infrastructure of the Data Center Buildings
• Provide First Level support such as execution of Standard Procedures in case of an incident etc.
• Operate and manage both standard and emergency tasks on a variety of critical systems such as generators, UPS, power distribution & cooling equipment, building’s monitoring systems etc.

What you will need

• An electrician technical / university degree 
• At least 2 years of experience in critical facility operation or/and maintenance 
• Understanding of critical systems and infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, monitoring systems, etc.)
• Ability to handle incidents and ensure uninterrupted operation of Data Centers. 
• Be fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written)
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
