On behalf of our client, a dynamic technology consulting company specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Solutions, we are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to design, develop, and support data warehousing and BI solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain databases, data warehouses, and BI solutions
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services or similar
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data models and technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse architectures (star/snowflake schemas, fact & dimension tables)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (specifications, manuals, runbooks)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define data requirements and propose BI solutions
  • Support client-facing activities, including meetings, demos, and solution presentations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with: Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Services, PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  • 3+ years of experience with ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts, including:
  • Performance tuning (indexes, execution plans)
  • Solid experience in data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, dimensional modeling)
  • Understanding of OLAP architectures and cube design
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate in cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with BI tools such as TARGIT BI or similar (e.g., Power BI)
  • Knowledge of Python or C# for data pipeline automation
  • Experience in technical documentation and proposal writing (RFPs)
