Devops Engineer

The Role

As a Devops Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling a modern infrastructure that supports microservice-based products. You will be part of a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of both on-premise and cloud-based systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer passionate about Linux, cloud infrastructure, and automation, who thrives in production-facing environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Your Day-to-Day

• Contribute to the evolution of artifact and container-based deployment strategies
• Design, build, and support immutable infrastructure platforms
• Develop high-volume, low-latency systems ensuring high availability and performance
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions across VMware, AWS, and Azure environments
• Maintain and upgrade on-premise data center infrastructure
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, scalability, and performance
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools
• Enable development teams to efficiently build and deploy applications across environments
• Troubleshoot system, network, and security issues
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support polyglot environments (Java, Python, Go, PHP, etc.)
• Contribute to internal tooling for automation, monitoring, and reporting

Must have

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong expertise in VMware vCenter, clustering, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with bare metal servers, storage systems, and SAN networks
• Solid Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
