DevOps / Platform Engineer (AWS · Kubernetes)

Our client is a 200-person SaaS company building freight-forwarding logistics infrastructure for European clients, running a micro-services architecture on AWS. The role exists to mature their internal platform and meaningfully reduce deployment lead-time.

The Role

You'll own the Kubernetes platform running 40+ microservices, from cluster upgrades and auto-scaling policies to on-call runbooks. In your first six months you'll implement GitOps with ArgoCD, cut deployment time by 50%, and establish SLO dashboards for all production services. You'll work closely with six product engineering squads.

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering roles
• Production-grade Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed) experience
• Terraform for infrastructure-as-code on AWS
• CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Strong Linux administration and bash scripting skills

Nice to Have

• CKA or AWS Solutions Architect certification
• Experience with Istio or Linkerd service mesh
• Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
