The Role:
As Finance Systems Support Team Leader, you’ll be the operational lead of first-line support. You’ll be the go-to escalation point, driving service excellence, maintaining SLA compliance, and ensuring the smooth handover of new systems and processes into business-as-usual support.
Your day to day:
- Lead first-line support, mentor junior staff, and act as an escalation point for complex issues
- Monitor and manage SLAs and ServiceNow queues
- Coordinate team schedules for month-end, patching weekends, and testing
- Deliver training sessions and enhance internal documentation
- Act as the bridge between support and functional teams during process transitions
- Analyse and report on support metrics to identify trends and improvements
- Maintain and continuously improve internal support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, quick reference materials, and knowledge base articles.
Must have:
- 5+ years' experience with Finance Systems Application in a legal or professional services setting
- Strong working knowledge of IT Service Management tools
- Solid understanding of finance processes: billing, accounts payable, or cashiering
- Good SQL skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
- Excellent planning and communication skills, and a proactive, service-focused attitude
- Resilience, flexibility, attention to detail
