GIS JavaScript Developer

On behalf of our client, an industry-leading IT services provider, offering innovative enterprise solutions to European and National Institutions, government agencies, and several organizations, we are currently looking for a GIS JavaScript Developer to join their IT team.

A day in the life of a GIS JavaScript Developer

You will be an expert in web engineering principles and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of web programming languages in GIS projects. You must be driven, hard-working, and passionate about developing web apps. You are committed to producing high-quality code and delivering to deadlines. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor is a bonus!

Your day-to-day

• Design and construct Geographical Information Systems
• Assist in the technical use of GIS software
• Implement geospatial analysis tools
• Assist with the deployment and configuration of the system
• Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to the requirements and methodology
• Participate in meetings with the project teams

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in GIS technologies
• Good knowledge of GIS software and tools
• Prove good knowledge of relational database systems
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience in Python and Node.js will be necessary

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment
• Familiarity with React.js
