Infrastructure Engineer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a technology company running digital services that depend on infrastructure performing reliably, securely and at scale. The role exists to bring experienced infrastructure engineering capability to a team responsible for the servers, networks and storage solutions the business is built on.

The Role

You will design, build and maintain critical infrastructure systems, keeping performance sharp, security tight and availability non-negotiable. In your first six months, you will conduct a thorough review of the existing infrastructure landscape, identify the most pressing performance and security improvement opportunities and deliver at least one meaningful upgrade that the business can measure. You will be the person the organisation depends on when the infrastructure needs to hold.

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of infrastructure engineering experience managing servers, networks and storage in an enterprise environment
• Solid hands-on experience designing, installing and maintaining infrastructure systems
• Strong monitoring and optimisation skills with a proactive approach to performance and capacity management
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues efficiently under pressure
• Experience collaborating with security teams to implement and enforce infrastructure best practices

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA or equivalent
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Background in cloud infrastructure or hybrid environments
