ISO 27001 Consultant

On behalf of our client, a Portuguese company specializing in the Information Security. We are currently seeking for a motivated and organized ISO 27001 Consultant to join the team.

A day in the life of an ISO 27001 Consultant

As an ISO 27001 Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the team. Your responsibilities will include, evaluating existing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Your day-to-day

• Review project requirements and client needs
• Conduct audits and assessments of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
• Evaluate existing security measures and identify vulnerabilities
• Provide recommendations for security improvements
• Develop and implement security strategies aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 standards
• Engage in consultative sessions with clients
• Participate in team meetings
• Stay updated on the latest developments in information security regulations and best practices

What you will need

• ISO/IEC 27002; ISO/IEC 27005; ISO/IEC 20000; ISO 22301; ISO 27035
• IT Service Management Systems and/or ITIL
• Physical security (data centers and buildings) and ANSI/TIA 942
• Legal Framework for Cybersecurity - D.L 65/2021

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Experience in consultancy projects in similar businesses
• Degree in technological areas preferred
• Certification in one of the identified technical competencies
