IT Presales Solution Architect, Porto Rafti, On-site

Our client is a rapidly growing enterprise IT solutions provider, based In Porto - Rafti, specialising in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and modern containerised environments, delivering technology solutions to both enterprise and public-sector clients. The IT Pre-Sales Solutions Architect role is open due to continued business expansion and increasing demand for pre-sales technical expertise across complex infrastructure projects.

You’ll join as an IT Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, acting as the critical link between sales, engineering, and customers to design and shape end-to-end infrastructure solutions.

Your focus will be on translating business requirements into robust technical architectures, supporting the full sales lifecycle from early-stage discovery through to proof-of-concept design and final proposal delivery. You’ll play a key role in ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with customer needs.

In your first six months, you’ll collaborate closely with sales and technical teams, participate in customer workshops, support solution design activities, and contribute to tenders and RFP responses. You’ll also begin leading Proof of Concept engagements and presenting tailored solutions to technical and business stakeholders.

• 4+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Systems Engineering roles
• Strong background in data center, server, storage, networking, and security technologies
• Hands-on experience with virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and enterprise connectivity solutions
• Experience with VMware, Linux, Windows Server, and/or Kubernetes environments
• Strong ability to analyse complex business requirements and design practical infrastructure architectures
• Excellent presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong technical writing and documentation abilities
• Experience working with tender processes, compliance mapping, and solution costing
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Exposure to containerised environments and cloud-native architectures
• Experience working with enterprise vendors and technology partners
• Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes
• Background in cybersecurity architecture or enterprise security frameworks

Monthly gross salary of €1,700 – €2,100, private health insurance and on-site working model with exposure to large-scale enterprise and public-sector infrastructure projects.
