IT Support Specialist - Athens, On-site
2nd Level SupportOur client is a national retail chain operating 80+ stores across Greece. The role exists to handle escalated IT support and lead small infrastructure projects across the store network as the company raises its IT service standards.
The Role
You will resolve escalated hardware, software and connectivity issues that Tier-1 support cannot handle and own device deployment for new store openings. In your first six months you will update the IT knowledge base, reduce average ticket resolution time by 20% and complete a POS terminal refresh across 10 stores. You will coordinate closely with the network and sysadmin teams and be the person the store network depends on when Tier-1 runs out of answers.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory user management and group policies
- Solid basic networking knowledge across IP addressing and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English with a genuine customer service mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting POS or retail-specific hardware including barcode scanners and receipt printers
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Willingness to travel to stores within Attica
What's in it for You
