IT Systems Administrator (Windows / Linux)

Mid-size Greek shipping company headquartered in Piraeus, managing a fleet of 25 vessels. The role exists to own and modernise their on-premise infrastructure.

The Role

You'll own day-to-day administration of 200+ Windows and Linux endpoints, Active Directory, and the Hyper-V virtualisation layer. In your first six months you'll complete a full asset audit, migrate three legacy file servers to a new NAS, and document the IT runbook. You'll be the primary contact for all internal IT support escalations.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of systems administration experience (Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux)
• Strong Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP management skills
• Hyper-V or VMware ESXi virtualisation experience
• Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam or similar)
• Network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN)

Nice to Have

• Microsoft 365 or Azure AD hybrid-environment experience
• Familiarity with maritime IT requirements (VSAT, vessel connectivity)
• ITIL Foundation certification
