On behalf of our client, a leading provider of telecommunications network design, construction, and maintenance services, we are looking for a Junior Developer to join their highly empowered team of dynamic and talented professionals.
A day in the life of a Junior Developer
As a Junior Developer, you will join the team supporting the Go Pass System, along with other internal systems and ongoing projects of the company. The role combines systems & business process analysis, hands-on development, data management & reporting.
Your day-to-day
- Manage and monitor data in MySQL databases (cloud environment)
- Create and execute SQL queries, data quality checks, and reports
- Participate in application development using Java / JavaScript
- Take part in functional & technical testing (UAT, regression tests)
- Work closely with business users and IT, acting as a liaison
- Support the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes methodologies
What you will need
- Good knowledge of MySQL and databases in general
- Basic to good knowledge of Java and JavaScript
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to understand business processes
- Very good English communication skills
- Preferrable knowledge in French
- Willingness to learn, grow, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
