A leading European flexible packaging manufacturer producing innovative packaging films for the food industry, is looking for a SAP ABAP Developer to join their IT team in Koropi. This is a hands-on development role within an SAP ECC environment, with direct involvement in an SAP S/4HANA migration project planned for later this year.
Your Day-to-Day
You’ll develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs — building reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces within the SAP ECC environment. You’ll work closely with the internal SAP team and external consultants across the MM, PP, QM, WM, and SD modules, translating technical requirements into ABAP solutions. Unit and integration testing and maintaining technical documentation are part of the role, as is supporting the upcoming migration to SAP S/4HANA.
What You Will Bring
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2-3 years of working experience building knowledge of SAP ABAP programming and SAP system architecture
- Fundamental understanding of SAP modules MM, PP, and SD
- Hands-on exposure to ALV reports, user exits/enhancements, and debugging
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA concepts
- Basic knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, or OData
- Exposure to SAP integrations — IDocs or RFCs
What’s in It for You
You’ll be joining a well-established, large-scale manufacturer with a serious European footprint, at an interesting moment — the SAP S/4HANA migration means real exposure to a significant project early in your career. The package includes a gross monthly salary of up to €2,000, meal vouchers (€1,452/year), and private medical insurance. The role is hybrid, with an initial on-site onboarding period of around two weeks in Koropi.
