On behalf of our client, a leading provider of integrated ICT and digital transformation solutions for enterprise and industrial clients, we are seeking a Mid-Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team. Your day-to-day
- Vulnerability Management & Remediation. Analyze vulnerability data from tools, vendors, and researchers, ensuring prompt remediation. Conduct internal assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Provide expert advice on remediation while staying current on emerging threats.
- Patch Management. Lead OS and application patching across IT infrastructure. Coordinate patch schedules to reduce downtime and verify successful deployment. Develop automation for patching and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Internal Support & System Administration. Offer advanced support for internal systems (Windows/Linux servers, Exchange, enterprise apps).Resolve complex performance, security, and availability issues.Maintain documentation and enforce configuration and operational standards.
- Security & Compliance. Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry regulations. Support audit processes with relevant technical documentation. Engage in red teaming, penetration testing, and improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration & Reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts in security and patching. Generate detailed reports on vulnerabilities, patch levels, and risk posture.
What you will need
- 4–6 years in systems engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Exchange Server administration
- Experience with patch management tools (SCCM/MECM, Atera)
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Nessus)
Preferred:
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and security best practices
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
