Project Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading company specializing in the design, construction, and supply of intelligent connected lighting systems for public and private infrastructures (roads, tunnels, squares, pedestrian areas, parks, outdoor, and indoor spaces, sports facilities, etc.), we are currently seeking for a Project Engineer to join the Public Sector Projects team.

A day in the life of a Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, your daily journey is a dynamic blend of technical expertise. Starting by immersing themselves in the intricacies of business processes and project requirements. Your day involves meticulous selection of the optimal product combinations from our extensive lighting portfolio, crafting technically and economically sound lighting proposals. This multifaceted role demands a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and effective communication skills to navigate the challenges of lighting design and implementation in both public and private infrastructures.

Your day-to-day

• Designing lighting proposals for outdoor and indoor spaces
• Selecting suitable product combinations from the company's lighting range and shaping the optimal technical and economic lighting proposal
• Developing Phototechnical Studies for the application of product solutions in projects undertaken by the company
• Monitoring and overseeing the installation and operation of product solutions to ensure the correct and effective implementation of Application Studies

What you will need

• Degree in a Technical discipline
• Good knowledge of street lighting and outdoor/indoor lighting techniques
• Experience in preparing Lighting Studies based on standards (EN13201, EN12464, EN12193) using simulation programs (Dialux Evo / Relux)
• Desired experience/familiarity with smart lighting systems technology and applications
• Communication skills in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
