On behalf of our client, a leader company that provides services for Smart Cities and IoT solutions, we are currently looking for a Project Manager, to join their team in Athens, Greece.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. Contributing to team efforts, allocate resources, manage risks, and maintain effective communication to achieve project goals. It is expected to identify and mitigate risks, monitor progress, develop and adjust plans as necessary. Acting as a central point of contact, facilitating collaboration and resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery. Ultimately, the Project Manager ensures that the project meets its objectives, delivering value to stakeholders, and aligns with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Timeline and Milestones: Ensuring projects are completed within specified timelines and achieving key milestones.
  • Budgetary Constraints: Adhering to the allocated budget and efficiently managing resources to avoid cost overruns.
  • Quality Standards: Maintaining high-quality standards in project deliverables and processes.
  • Communication Protocols: Following established communication protocols to ensure effective information flow within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Complying with industry regulations and legal requirements relevant to the project.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to minimize project disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Expectations: Meeting and exceeding the expectations of project stakeholders through effective collaboration and communication.
  • Documentation Practices: Adhering to thorough documentation practices, ensuring clarity and transparency in project records.
  • Ethical Guidelines: Upholding ethical standards in decision-making and project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embracing a mindset of continuous improvement, adapting strategies based on project feedback and lessons learned.

Requirements

The Project Manager is anticipated to adhere to company’s guidelines, demonstrate a strong commitment and dedication to the successful planning, execution, and completion of the project:

  • BSc and/or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in similar position and/or site-field engineering, with a focus on Public Sector projects 
  • Familiarity with Project Management best practices and systems
  • A high standard of thorough reporting is essential
  • Proficiency in the English language, both oral and written, is essential
