Project Manager (Civil Engineer) - Lavrio, On-site

Our client is a Greek engineering and construction group with nearly 30 years of experience delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects internationally. The company specializes in industrial engineering, electromechanical installations, production line assembly, turnkey facility relocations and large-scale construction. 

Projects span sectors including manufacturing, logistics and heavy industry with clients that include major industrial groups operating across Europe.

The Role

You'll take active ownership of a large-scale industrial project from mobilization through to handover, managing the site team, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, controlling schedule and budget, and acting as the primary point of contact for the client. 

The scope is complex and the expectations are high, making this a hands-on leadership role with significant responsibility and visibility. 

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering (university or equivalent accredited institution)
• 8+ years of experience managing building and construction projects in on-site environments.
• Proven ability to manage site teams including foremen, site engineers and subcontractors
• Strong track record of managing budgets, quality standards, and HSE requirements across complex construction projects. 
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with regular client communication and reporting responsibilities.
• Solid knowledge of Greek construction legislation, project regulations and contract fundamentals
• Proficient in MS Office, comfortable with document management in large technical organizations
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing project demands while maintaining control of delivery, scope and priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience on industrial or manufacturing facility projects
• Prior exposure to turnkey or relocation projects
