About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Construction) to join their Development Department, a small and highly skilled team responsible for delivering all capital investment projects across the business. These projects are diverse and engaging, ranging from new building construction and exhibitions to renovations and upgrades of existing facilities.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of individual projects within an exciting and varied programme of works, contributing directly to the successful delivery of high-quality developments.
A day in the life of Project Manager (Construction)
You will play a hands-on role in shaping and delivering high-quality construction projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered professionally, safely, on time, and within budget.
Your day-to-day
- Plan, procure, and manage construction projects across the organization.
- Take full responsibility for assigned projects from initiation to completion.
- Maintain a regular on-site presence, monitoring progress and quality of works.
- Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports in English.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, and resources.
- Monitor workmanship to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and health & safety standards.
What you will need
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- PRINCE2 certification (must).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction project management role.
- Strong knowledge of the Greek construction industry, including trades, materials, technologies, and local practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Strong written and verbal reporting skills.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Experience using project management tools and software.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
