QA/QC Civil Manager

Role Overview
As the QA/QC Civil Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the site-based supervision team, ensuring quality control across all civil works while collaborating closely with both Civil and MEP/E supervision teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring construction activities meet approved design specifications, industry standards, and project timelines—through continuous inspections, evaluations, and technical oversight.
Key Responsibilities
General Site Supervision & Coordination

Operate as a key member of the consulting supervision team, with authority to direct civil and MEP/E site supervision personnel

Review and validate technical drawings and specifications to ensure feasibility and clarity prior to execution

Conduct routine site visits (daily and weekly) to ensure compliance with approved plans and international standards

Log all inspection results, document deviations, and provide corrective action guidance in real-time

Submit structured daily and weekly reports to the Project Director and relevant stakeholders
Civil QA/QC Oversight

Ensure proper implementation and dimensional accuracy of:

Structural elements, wall alignment, plastering quality, and floor leveling

Utilize precision measurement tools like laser levels and water levels to inspect quality compliance

Assess construction materials, including:

Review of testing certificates (e.g., concrete cubes, plaster, blockwork)

Verify proper on-site storage conditions and material suitability
-

Issue immediate directives to the civil supervision team in case of deviation or non-compliance
Reporting & Documentation

Compile daily summaries outlining general progress and any observed deviations

Prepare weekly reports analyzing trends, risk areas, and recurring issues for escalation

Ensure that documentation supports transparent communication with the client and internal teams
Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
-
Minimum 7+ years of QA/QC experience in large-scale civil construction supervision

In-depth knowledge of international civil construction standards and QA/QC procedures

Strong technical understanding of drawing review, inspection tools, and construction methodologies

Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced site environment

Comfortable working on-site and coordinating across cross-disciplinary teams
