SAP ABAP Developer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is an innovative IT consulting firm specialising in the insurance sector, bringing together developers and consultants to deliver complex SAP solutions for high-calibre clients. The role exists to strengthen their development team with a talented ABAP developer who can build clean, reliable solutions and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

The Role

You will develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces and forms that sit at the core of client SAP environments, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to turn requirements into solutions that actually work in practice. In your first six months, you will contribute to at least one live client project, get deep into the existing SAP landscape and establish yourself as a developer the team trusts with complex, high-impact deliverables. You will be the person who bridges the gap between what the business needs and what the system can do.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience including object-oriented ABAP
• Proven ability to develop and maintain integration interfaces between SAP and external systems
• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions
• Strong documentation habits and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
• Solid approach to testing, including support for integration and UAT cycles

Nice to Have

• Experience with integration technologies such as RFC, BAPIs and web services
• Background in the insurance sector or financial services environments
• Familiarity with the latest SAP technologies and development trends
