SAP Business Application Specialist

Our client is a premier, research-driven European pharmaceutical company and one of the fastest-growing generic and specialty pharma developers and manufacturers in the region, operating state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing facilities and distributing globally.

The role exists to strengthen their Corporate IT Business Applications & Systems Validation team, taking charge of end-to-end delivery, functional support, and continuous improvement across their core enterprise SAP ecosystem and associated business platforms.

The Role

You’ll own the coordination, functional analysis, and delivery of core SAP initiatives with a primary focus on SAP SD, serving as the central link between internal commercial/operational stakeholders, corporate IT, and external SAP technology partners.

Within your first six months, you will take full ownership of business application change requests, streamline supply chain and sales distribution processes, and support critical milestone activities including legacy SAP CRM functionality migration into SAP ERP/SD.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned SAP and Business Applications projects, enhancements, and change initiatives from initial requirements definition and functional specification design through to testing and production deployment
• Deliver hands-on functional and operational support primarily for SAP SD business processes, coordinating incident resolutions, enhancements, and continuous improvement with business users and external SAP consultants
• Coordinate business requirements gathering, testing (UAT), and implementation activities across commercial, HR, and enterprise applications
• Support SAP CRM transition and migration activities to SAP ERP/SD until full decommissioning, while contributing to cross-functional SAP initiatives across other modules
• Facilitate Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) deliverables, user access administration, and audit-readiness tasks in strict accordance with corporate quality guidelines and GMP regulatory standards

What You'll Bring

• Proven hands-on functional experience in SAP ERP business processes, with primary domain expertise in SAP SD
• Strong background in requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, and delivery of SAP enhancements and change management initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate enterprise IT projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional relationships across business units, technical teams, and external consulting partners
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Greek and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

• Functional or support experience with SAP SuccessFactors / LMS, SAP CRM, or complementary corporate applications (HRMS, document archiving)
• Understanding of SAP authorization structures and user access management frameworks
• Prior exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare, or strictly regulated GMP environments involving Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) protocols
