SAP Operations Specialist

On behalf of our client, a global leader in third-party services provider, specialized in the sector of Technical Audits, Inspections, and Certification, we are currently looking for a passionate SAP Operations Specialist (hybrid) to join the team in Athens, Greece.

A day in the life of a SAP Operations Specialist

We are looking for an SAP Operations Specialist with experience in SAP NetWeaver. You will support day-to-day operations, ensuring systems are running in normal state, support user creation, maintain user authorizations, doing basic SAP module maintenance, testing new deployments in the system, and moving transports.

Your day to day

• Administer and maintain the SAP system landscape within a Basis environment.
• Conduct system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and minimal downtime.
• Manage user access, roles, authorizations, and compliance with security policies.
• Facilitate technical aspects of SAP module configuration, integration, and support in SAP functional areas.
• Coordinate user acceptance tests within the department.
• Support and advise our departments in demand management and ensure stable operations.
• Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, technical specifications, and operating procedures.

What you will need 

• 1-2 years of experience working within SAP 
• Good understanding of SAP NetWeaver
• Good understanding of SAP Operations
• Understanding of SAP Basis architecture, landscape management and best practices (nice to have)
• Knowledge of ABAP programming (nice to have)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language 
• German language knowledge will be considered an asset
