Senior Lead Design Architect

The role
This role includes leading design excellence and delivery across multiple architectural projects by providing visionary leadership, strategic design direction, and effective team coordination. The role ensures alignment with client aspirations, project goals, and organizational standards, while mentoring design teams and fostering innovation.
Day to day
- Provide visionary design leadership from concept through construction.
- Lead multi-project teams, mentor design architects, and foster a collaborative studio culture.
- Translate client aspirations into visionary design concepts.
- Self-create concept sketches, free hand, 3D models, and final presentation materials.
- Maintain continuity of design intent through all project phases by closely coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders from concept through DD and CD.
- Collaborate closely with the Sketch to lead the creation of pre-concept and concept design stages.
- Integrate advanced digital tools (Revit, Rhino, BIM, Adobe Suite) and AI-powered design solutions.
- Shape sustainable, wellness-focused, and contextually sensitive architectural outcomes.
- Lead early-stage client workshops and visioning sessions to ensure strategic alignment with project briefs and feasibility studies.
- Integrate sustainable design strategies in accordance with LEED, WELL, and other relevant frameworks throughout all phases.
- Supervise team of 5-6 members (Project Design Architects and Design Architects)
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver world-class designs.
Core Skills & Background
- Minimum 10 years of architectural design experience.
- Proven leadership in design development (DD) and construction documentation (CD) phases.
- Strong digital and AI-assisted design skills, creativity, and conceptual expertise.
- Proficiency in advanced design tools including Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM workflows.
- Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
- LEED certification is a plus.
