Senior Network Engineer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a growing telecommunications company expanding its network infrastructure to meet increasing demand and rising performance expectations. The role exists to bring solid network engineering expertise to a team that needs someone who can maintain what is running today while building what the business needs tomorrow.

The Role

You will configure and maintain network equipment, monitor performance and implement security measures across a telecommunications environment that cannot afford downtime. In your first six months, you will get a thorough understanding of the existing infrastructure, address the most pressing performance and security gaps and contribute actively to the company's network expansion plans. You will be the person the team depends on when the network needs to be fast, secure and available.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of network engineering experience in a telecommunications or enterprise environment
• Solid hands-on experience configuring and maintaining routers, switches and firewalls
• Strong network monitoring and troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN and wireless environments
• Proven ability to implement network security measures and keep infrastructure protected
• Experience contributing to network expansion and infrastructure upgrade projects

Nice to Have

• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Experience with SD-WAN or network virtualisation technologies
• Background in high-availability or mission-critical network environments
