Service Deliver Manager
€4500 - €5000 / Monthly rate
Permanent
N. Ionia

Our client, a leading IT & Cybersecurity Solutions and managed-services provider operating in the Greek market is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their Athens-based team. The organization delivers complex infrastructure, network-security, and application-security projects to large enterprise clients, combining modern technology and engineering excellence.

The delivery organization is built around a central PMO and specialized vertical teams spanning cloud and virtualization, network security, and 24x7 managed services. Operating in a modern, hybrid, and agile delivery model rather than rigid waterfall, teams are organized around clear areas of expertise.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact technical projects for some of the most demanding organizations in the country, with real scope to shape how services are delivered and to grow capability within the team.

The Role

As Service Delivery Manager, you will own the successful, end-to-end delivery of technical and cybersecurity projects making sure they land on time, to a high standard, within budget, and in line with agreed service levels (SLAs).

This is a project-oriented role. Rather than managing a single fixed team, you will build and coordinate cross-technology project teams for each engagement, working hand-in-hand with project managers, solution architects, and presales. A core part of the work is onboarding users onto Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions, in the cloud or on-premise, ideally on F5, or on other vendors such as Imperva.

You will act as the primary point of contact for escalations and operate across core infrastructure (storage, virtualization, telco-provided environments), where sound judgment matters because small changes can have wide impact. It is a role for someone who thinks beyond the purely technical and enjoys owning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of technical and cybersecurity projects across time, quality, and budget
  • Take on projects together with the project manager, defining next steps and project hierarchy
  • Build and coordinate cross-technology engineering teams for each project
  • Onboard users onto WAF solutions in cloud or on-premise environments (F5 or equivalent)
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects and presales on complex enterprise projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations
  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure consistent SLA compliance and drive continuous improvement of delivered services

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in service delivery or technical project delivery, at a senior level
  • A strong background in IT and cybersecurity solutions (service-provider and enterprise)
  • Hands-on experience with WAF / application security (Layer 7) - F5 ideally, or Imperva / equivalent
  • Experience with IPS, WAF, DAM, and firewall solutions
  • Linux system administration fundamentals and familiarity with virtualization / hypervisors
  • Confidence working directly with technical personnel, architects, and presales teams
  • Excellent command of Greek and English

Nice to Have

  • Security or Linux certifications (CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE)
  • Experience delivering to large enterprise environments
  • Background in cloud and hybrid infrastructure or migration projects

What's in It for You

€4,500 – €5,000 Gross / Month, depending on experience, together with a flexible hybrid working model (3-2) that lets you split your time between home and the office seamlessly. Additional benefits include an annual variable bonus program, private insurance and wellbeing program. To ensure your continuous growth, you will also receive fully sponsored professional training and technical certifications within a flexible and modern collaboration framework.

This is an opportunity to join an organization that takes on genuinely complex, high-stakes work for major enterprise accounts, giving you exposure to leading-edge security and infrastructure technologies and the chance to own high-impact projects end-to-end. Working alongside highly experienced architects and presales specialists, the role provides a direct path to expand your professional scope and actively build delivery capability within a high-performing team.
