Title: Service Operations Manager

Location: Athens | Full-time

Introduction: On behalf of our client, a modern technology solutions company that helps organizations optimize the way they work, we are looking for a self-driven Service Operations Manager to lead and develop their technical services team.

A day in the life of the Service Operations Manager:

As a Service Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end management and evolution of the company’s technical services. You will combine people management, operational excellence, financial oversight, and technical expertise while actively shaping new service offerings and supporting the commercial team.

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead and coordinate all technical service operations.
  • Organize, mentor, and develop the technical services team.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs, capacity planning, and skill development.
  • Collaborate with vendors for updates, training, and escalations.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex issues and escalations.
  • Design, plan, and implement new services.
  • Manage operational costs, P&L, and service pricing.
  • Handle budgeting, contracts, renewals, and adjustments.
  • Analyze data and continuously improve processes (automation, standardization, tools).
  • Maintain knowledge management systems (SOPs, knowledge base, technical documentation).
  • Support after-sales applications for Office & Workflow Automation.
  • Assist sales teams with surveys, customer visits, and pre-sales input.
  • Collaborate with PMO on costing and service roll-outs.
  • Evaluate and train Service Partners.
  • Develop internal applications and infrastructure.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in Service Management, Technical Operations, IT, or Managed Services.
  • Strong people and process management background.
  • Understanding of KPIs, P&L, budgeting, and service economics.
  • Ability to analyze data and optimize operations.
  • Hands-on approach and comfort with technical issues and escalations.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with vendors and clients.
  • Structured thinking, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
