SQL Developer

On behalf of our client, an innovative ICT company specialized in the development of integrated information systems and high-demand applications built in Cloud Computing architecture, we are currently looking for a highly skilled SQL Developer, to join the technical team in Piraeus, Attiki, Greece.

A day in the life of an SQL Developer

You will be responsible for the implementation and support of IT projects of the public sector and the implementation of data modeling and data management frameworks for the company. You will be working with a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team designing and implementing information systems.

Your day-to-day

• Contribute in technical requirements analysis
• Data model specification
• Design, implement and support data management systems
• Design and implement security mechanism and data access control policies
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure system documentation is kept current and accurate
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science or related field
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of PL/SQL (nice to have)
• Exposure to Java 7/8 and/or Python (nice to have)
• Knowledge to build REST web services
• Excellent understanding of the development process (information gathering, planning, design, development)
• Versions control systems e.g. Git (nice to have)
