Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leader company that provides services for Smart Cities and IoT solutions, we are currently looking for a Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineer, to join their team in Athens, Greece.

Position Summary

In collaboration with vendors and various stakeholders you will be act as part of a team responsible for the end to end execution of a Power Network Distribution digitalization project on behalf of a major Greek electrical supplier company. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing complexed data in order to be imported into the company’s Geographic Information System (GIS).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting, updating and processing of geographical and technical network data
• Assisting in the design and the clarification of complexed processes and workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders in order to ensure project’s smooth progress
• Work with custom GIS and other tools

Requirements

• Degree in Rural, Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineering
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods
• Familiar with tools like AutoCAD, QGIS, ArcGIS, Inkscape etc.
