Technical Account ManagerOur client is an established boutique cybersecurity and managed services provider (SOC, GRC, MSSP) operating across Greece, Cyprus, and broader European enterprise markets. Due to portfolio expansion and strategic commercial growth, they are adding a Technical Account Manager to their commercial team to spearhead enterprise client acquisition and key account relationships.
The Role
You will drive and own the full commercial relationship across assigned enterprise accounts balancing 70% new business development and reactivation with 30% key account management. Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, you will lead first-level technical discovery and qualification, own the RFI/RFP process, and translate business security needs into tailored solutions without having to handle technical execution yourself.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships across enterprise sectors including financial services, telecommunications, and energy
- Own the RFI/RFP submission process end-to-end, crafting the commercial and business narrative while coordinating input from technical engineers
- Lead initial technical scoping and regular client review meetings, acting as a trusted advisor on security posture and compliance drivers
- Brief presales and cybersecurity engineers ahead of proofs-of-concept (POCs) and live demos to ensure alignment with client priorities
- Orchestrate communication and technical escalations across internal teams, maintaining complete ownership of the client experience
- Manage pipeline forecasting and systematic account planning (tiering 30–50 accounts) within the CRM system
What You'll Bring
- 3–5 years of client-facing experience as an Account Manager, Technical Account Manager, or Presales/Commercial Consultant within Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, or Systems Integration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field
- Working familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, IAM, and GRC frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, NIST)
- Proven capability in managing enterprise RFP/tender submissions, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Greek and English, with the ability to converse comfortably with CISOs, IT directors, and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or vendor/cloud credentials
- Prior exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM), SOC services, or micro-datacenter managed infrastructure
- Experience selling into heavily regulated enterprise accounts or financial institutions
