Our client is a fast-growing IT solutions provider delivering technical support across a diverse and demanding client base. The role exists to strengthen their support function as the customer portfolio grows and the complexity of incidents increases.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues, diagnosing hardware and software problems, walking customers through solutions and escalating complex incidents to the right teams when needed. In your first six months, you will get a thorough understanding of the product and client environment, build a reputation for fast and accurate resolution and contribute meaningfully to the knowledge base that makes the whole support function sharper. You will be the person clients trust to fix things and explain why they went wrong.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of technical support or IT helpdesk experience in a client-facing environment
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware and software issues
  • Clear, patient communication style with the ability to explain technical problems to non-technical users
  • Experience documenting solutions and contributing to internal knowledge bases
  • Calm, organised approach to managing multiple incidents simultaneously under pressure

Nice to Have

  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL or equivalent
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira or Zendesk
  • Background in an IT solutions provider or managed services environment
