Application Support Engineer
Software Technical ConsultantOur client is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their growing team. This role blends enterprise-level technical support (Level 2) with engineering-adjacent responsibilities, making it a great opportunity for technically strong professionals who want to grow into engineering, QA, or product roles over time.
What you’ll do

Provide hands-on technical support to enterprise clients (API, integrations, system errors).

Contribute to documentation, testing, and tooling improvements that enhance product quality.

Act as a bridge between Support and Engineering, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and client satisfaction remains high.

Investigate and resolve Level 2 technical tickets (API failures, integration issues, system errors).

Analyze logs, retry API requests using Postman (or similar), and perform basic SQL queries for troubleshooting.

Maintain and update internal knowledge base and troubleshooting guides.

Contribute to automated test suites (regression/integration).

Assist QA and Engineering in reproducing and validating client-reported bugs.

Participate in sprint demos, release briefings, and bug triage sessions.
What we’re looking for

Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and integration workflows.

Hands-on experience with Postman, log aggregators, and SQL.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Preferred:
-
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright).

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Prior experience in QA, technical support, or software engineering.

Basic experience with C# / .NET.
