Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Remote
Full Stack EngineerOur client has built a Healthcare Automation Platform that enables hospitals, clinics, and health tech companies to connect their systems and automate critical processes such as patient intake, appointment scheduling, and billing without the need for custom integrations.
Backed by leading U.S. investors and experiencing rapid growth, the company is expanding its engineering team to support the next stage of product development. The platform is already live, trusted by healthcare organizations, and continuously evolving to solve complex operational challenges across the healthcare ecosystem.
The role
You'll own full-stack features end-to-end, from the workflow editor UI to the backend runtime engine and APIs, shipping directly to production. Early on, you'll contribute to the workflow execution engine, connector SDK, and AI Copilot that helps users build and troubleshoot automations.
This is a high-ownership environment where engineers make architecture decisions, deploy continuously, and see the direct impact of their work on healthcare workflows at scale.
What you will bring- Proven production experience across both frontend and backend, you've built, debugged, and maintained systems in live environments
- Strong engineering fundamentals: unit and integration testing, fault-tolerant design, scalability thinking, clean version control practices
- End-to-end ownership track record, you've taken features or products from idea to production independently, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt
- TypeScript experience, or demonstrated ability to move quickly in a new stack (the entire codebase is TypeScript end-to-end: React frontend, Node backend)
- Fluent in English, written and verbal; the team is international and async-first
- Comfortable using AI coding tools as a genuine productivity multiplier, while applying your own judgment on correctness, security, and code quality
- Experience building workflow engines, iPaaS, or automation platforms
- Background in healthcare tech or HIPAA-compliant system design
- SDK or CLI development experience
- Exposure to AI/LLM integration in production products
