Full Stack Engineer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a leading e-commerce platform provider building web applications that need to perform reliably at scale for a large and growing user base. The role exists to strengthen their engineering team with a full stack developer who can move fluidly between frontend and backend without losing momentum or quality.

The Role

You will build and maintain responsive web applications, develop server-side logic and APIs and work closely with product and design teams to make sure interfaces are as functional as they are intuitive. In your first six months, you will get deep into the existing codebase, contribute to at least one significant feature release and establish yourself as the engineer the team relies on when something spans the full stack. You will be the person who sees the whole picture and delivers on both sides of it.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of full stack engineering experience with modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend and Node.js on the backend
• Solid experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and server-side logic
• Strong understanding of web application performance optimisation and scalability
• Comfortable collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into clean, functional interfaces
• Systematic approach to troubleshooting and debugging across the full stack

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerised deployment
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or high-traffic web environments
• Background in Agile or sprint-based delivery teams
