On behalf of our client, a leading global professional certification organization that drives innovation and learning worldwide, we are seeking a Cloud Data Architect to join their team and support data-driven decision-making by developing enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, self-service reporting cubes, and advanced analytics & AI solutions.

Your Day to day:

  • Build, implement, and maintain scalable Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and Data Lakes on Microsoft Azure.
  • Design and orchestrate Azure Data Factory ELT pipelines integrating CRM, ERP, Call Center systems, multimedia streams, and custom applications.
  • Apply data democratization techniques to enable secure, governed access for self-service analytics.
  • Lead and support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Collaborate with the Data Management Office (DMO) to design cloud-optimized data models, BI reports, and AI/ML solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize data architecture performance for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Stay updated with Azure advancements and recommend architectural improvements.
  • Provide mentorship and training on cloud-native data architecture best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud data architecture.

Must have:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect, Data Engineer, or Software Developer with strong Microsoft Azure expertise (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, or related fields.
  • Azure Data certifications (e.g., DP-203) highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS) and advanced T-SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SSAS Tabular, and DAX is a plus.
  • Exposure to data science workflows (Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks) advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to quality, deadlines, and teamwork.
  • Excellent English (C2 level) and optionally other languages.
  • Knowledge of Fabric is a plus.
