On behalf of our client, a leading global organization in the certification and technology sector, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern data infrastructure and tools that enable large-scale data processing, storage, and analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies—including Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Delta Lake—as well as a strong background in API integration and Python development.

Your Day to Day

  • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes to support complex analytics and processing needs.
  • Lead the delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes within time and scope.
  • Design and manage API integrations to streamline data flow across platforms and systems.
  • Utilize Python to enhance and automate data workflows for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct advanced SQL data analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee data integrity, reliability, and security across the entire data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable data solutions.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging cloud technologies.

Must have

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in large-scale projects within an Azure environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and complex data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data tools (Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake) and integration pipelines.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with API development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Fluency in English
