Customer Success Manager

Customer Support
Permanent
Koukaki

On behalf of a fast-growing AI startup operating in the global maritime sector, we are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join their Athens-based team. This is a high-impact, hybrid role sitting at the heart of how the company wins customers, onboards them successfully, and grows those relationships over time. You will work directly with the founders and play an active part in shaping their early customer experience and commercial motion.

Your Day-to-Day

You will own the full customer journey — from the first onboarding session through to renewal and long-term expansion. Acting as the primary point of contact for live customers, you will manage day-to-day operations across product queries, training, and scheduling, while driving adoption, satisfaction, and retention across a B2B client base.

Alongside your customer success responsibilities, you will support the commercial side of the business: helping with outbound outreach, organising demo sessions for prospective clients, and assisting with early-stage sales conversations. As the company scales, you will take ownership of upselling, POC onboarding, and communicating new product features — all while ensuring clients feel genuinely supported and confident in the platform.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing CX, CS, or account management role — this is not an entry-level position.
  • Outstanding English — verbal and written — with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine startup mindset: self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, hands-on, and ready to build from scratch.
  • AI-native (or committed to becoming one): you actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or AI-powered note-taking in your daily workflow.
  • Solid CRM experience — HubSpot preferred, at a confident power-user level.
  • Familiarity with ticketing and project management tools such as Asana.
  • B2B sensibility — you understand the art of client hand-holding through complex, consultative journeys.

What’s in it for You

You will be joining an ambitious, early-stage AI company with real commercial traction in the global maritime industry, backed by an experienced venture capital team with multimillion companies created. The role is offered on a B2B contract basis, with a competitive salary and access to meaningful stock options — giving you genuine ownership in what you help build. There is a clear path to a leadership role as the team expands. The working model is hybrid (2–3 days remote) in Athens, with flexible hours and a culture that rewards output over face-time.
